Prenatal consultation
A prenatal consultation is a comprehensive infant feeding education session. During this visit we cover all of your questions and concerns about breastfeeding/infant feeding so please bring a list with you. We also cover a detailed medical history, talk about your infant feeding goals, do an in depth education session on normal newborn feeding behaviour and how to get your infant feeding journey off on the best foot possible. If you like to be prepared, have had a previous breastfeeding experience that didn’t go as you hoped, have medical concerns that you are worried may impact breastfeeding or just want all the clinically based information possible this is the prenatal session for you!
Postnatal consultation
A postnatal consultation is a comprehensive infant feeding appointment. During this visit we take a detailed medical history, do an exam of baby, possibly an exam of breast/chest area, watch a feeding and discuss what your concerns are as well as discuss any clinical information we observe during the visit. With your goals in mind we discuss options, provide hands on help and trying of techniques/tools, and put a plan in place to help you get to where you would like to be. Evidence based information, practical tips and empathetic listening are a core foundation for every consultation.
Follow up consultation
For any clients who have previously seen Leah and are following up on progress, or with a different feeding concern/situation who are bringing their baby to work on improving feeding.

- 60 minute consultation: $125
- 80 minute prenatal consultation: $200
- 90 minute postnatal consultation: $100
