Fertility Support
Fertility is a complex stage of the perinatal process that looks different for every individual. Understanding your body and what it needs for support can make a meaningful difference in your fertility journey.
At Spring Reproductive and Perinatal Wellness, we offer a range of services designed to address the physical, emotional and nutritional aspects of fertility. We believe that everyone deserves holistic care and intentional support.
How Diet Supports Fertility
Diet not only plays a significant role in our health and wellbeing but can also have an impact on fertility for both men and women. The nutrients provided by our diets can help to improve egg and sperm quality for increased fertility.
Diets rich in folic acid, vitamin B12, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids have been linked to have a positive impact on fertility. Our dietitians can help to create a personalized dietary plan to support your fertility goals and health goals.
How Craniosacral Therapy Supports Fertility
Fertility is optimized when our bodies are in a parasympathetic state – that is relaxed and free of stress. In contrast, when our bodies are in a sympathetic state, otherwise known as “fight or flight,” the bodily response is to react to perceived danger. This is why stress can often have a negative impact on fertility.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle form of manual therapy that can support in releasing stress from the body and targeted areas such as the pelvic region. Our practitioners can help your body enter its parasympathetic state, creating an optimal environment to support fertility.
Massage Therapy and Fertility Support
Massage therapy is another practice rooted in alleviating stress from the body. While not directly linked to fertility, this practice can help to relax the body and release built up tension.
Our practitioners will help to direct their treatment to aid with your body’s unique needs and goals. Holistic care means listening to all the needs of the body, and when combined with other fertility supporting practices, massage therapy can be a valuable tool in improving your overall health and wellbeing.
